Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to this site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used in submitting the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of this site and to check its correct functioning, to identify anomalies and/or abuses, and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site or third parties.

Special categories of personal data

If you use our website to submit a job application (or to send it to us by e-mail), your personal data that falls into special categories of personal data under Article 9 of the Regulations may be transferred. Please do not publish this data unless absolutely necessary. We would like to expressly inform you that the data controller cannot be held responsible for the transfer of special categories of personal data, but in the absence of explicit consent to the processing of such data (it is, of course, permissible to send a curriculum vitae), nor can the data controller receive any kind of censure, since in this case the processing is permitted as it relates to data voluntarily made public by the data subject, in accordance with Article 9(1)e of the Regulations. However, we would like to emphasize that, as mentioned above, it is important to provide explicit consent to the processing of special categories of personal data if you decide to provide such information.
We also inform you that the controller may analyze social profiles freely available on the Internet for professional purposes (e.g. LinkedIn) for the purpose of candidate selection.

Indeed, we remind you that the processing carried out for e-mail marketing purposes on products or services similar to those purchased by you finds its legal basis in the legitimate interest of the data controller (ref. Recitals (47) and (70) of the GDPR, Art. 6.1(f) of the GDPR) to promote its products or services in a context in which the data subject can reasonably expect such type of processing, to which, moreover, you may object at any time. Fraudulent conduct:

for the exclusive purposes of security and prevention of fraudulent conducts, the holder puts in place an automatic control system that involves the detection and analysis of user behaviors on the site, associated with the processing of personal data including IP address. The consequences of this processing are that if a person attempts to engage in fraudulent conduct on this site (e.g. to benefit from the same promotion several times without being entitled to it), the holder reserves the right to exclude that person from the promotion or to take any other appropriate measures for its own protection. This processing is also based on the legitimate interest of the owner in detecting fraud and scams carried out to its detriment (ref. Recital (47) of the GDPR, Art. 6.1(f) of the GDPR).

Communication to third parties: only with reference to certain services, your data may be processed for the purpose of communication to third parties for their third-party marketing purposes, i.e. to provide you with information and/or make offers on products, services or initiatives offered or promoted by other companies of the data controller and/or its affiliates and/or subsidiaries, and/or other business partners and outsourcers acting as autonomous data controllers.

The provision of your personal data for the purposes of processing performed for purposes based on the granting of your consent (pursuant to Art. 6.1(a) of the GDPR) is entirely optional and does not affect the use of the other services of this site.

Recipients of personal data
Your personal data may be processed by electronic means with restricted access to persons entrusted and authorized by the data controller, who has put in place all necessary IT security measures to minimize the risk of privacy breaches by third parties, and is at all times prepared to take such security measures as prove indispensable.
Your personal data may be shared, for the “Processing Purposes” listed above, with:

Transfer of data
Some of your personal data are shared with recipients who may be located outside the European Economic Area. The controller ensures that the processing of your personal data by these Recipients is done in compliance with the GDPR. Indeed, transfers may be based on an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

More information is available from the owner, in particular to know what processing involves the transfer of the data in question outside the European Economic Area. Given that said transfer is necessary for its enjoyment of the service, according to current privacy legislation, it is justified under Art. 44 et seq. of Chapter V of the GDPR.

Data Retention
In general, all personal data collected for the purposes described above will be processed for the time strictly necessary to achieve the same purposes. In any case, the owner will process personal data for as long as permitted by Italian law to protect its interests (Art. 2946 c.c. et seq.). The period of storage of personal data varies according to the purpose of processing for which it was collected:
To improve site navigation: since this is data related to technical cookies, details are described in the cookie policy.

To respond to requests for information: will be used for as long as strictly necessary to achieve the same purpose, and will be retained thereafter only for management purposes and to protect the holder's interests from possible liability based on such processing.
For sending newsletters or for marketing purposes or for statistical and market research purposes: will be kept by the owner until the consent given by the Data Subject is revoked. Once the consent is revoked, the use of the data for such purposes will cease, but the owner may retain it in order to protect itself from possible liability based on such processing.
In order to use the services of the site or to respond to requests for assistance or for communication to third parties: it will be used for as long as is strictly necessary to achieve the same purpose and, as such personal data is processed to provide the products/services, it will be retained thereafter for a longer period and as long as may be necessary to protect the holder's interests from possible liability based on the supplies.

This is without prejudice, in any case, to the holder's ability to retain your personal data for as long as permitted by Italian law to protect its interests (Art. 2947(1)(3) c.c.) and in particular to protect itself from fraudulent conduct. More information regarding the data retention period and the criteria used to determine this period can be requested by emailing the owner.
